Today I will be giving you an update on my little princess. She has discovered the other animal in the house and that if she rolls around in front of the dog that he will attack her ball and knock the lid off. So she is free! She then plays keep away with us and will hide behind and under things until someone can get a hold of her and into her ball.
She loves to eat her bars in her cage. We aren't sure if she is trying to break out or if she is just trying to file her teeth down like hamsters tend to do. Now that it is colder out we have to take more precautions to keep her warm. We put more of her bedding in the cage so she can hide under more of it and we have put a blanket over her cage because our furnace is currenlt broken. Hopefully it will be fixed soon so she can just curl up in her ball in the corner of her cage and sleep in her bedding.
I love the little trouble maker (or as my brother says the devil) and am happy that she is happy in her home.

Dante-Update
So this week I will be giving you an update on how the new puppy is doing as well as in another post write about another animal.
Dante is a very happy puppy and loves to always be with someone. You can't leave him alone in a room or else he will start to cry and whine and scratch at the door to be with you. We believe this is because he may have been abandoned as younger puppy and now has abandonment issues and separation anxiety. Sometimes we have to leave him in the kennel when we leave and he hates it! The poor little guy cries and cries while you are gone and whoever lets him out better watch out! He will jump on you and kiss you and not leave your side for at least an hour after you let him out.
Dante loves to play. He always tries to convince the cat to chase him, but the cat just won't have that. He will hiss and swat at him to leave him alone. Eventually Dante leaves him alone and finds someone else to play with.
We are still working on potty-training and training him to not jump on people, stay, sit, and lay down. It'll take some time but he is a smart boy and will get the hang of it with time.
As always I have some pictures of him below so that you can see him and his adorableness. Enjoy!

Dante
This week is a special week for me and my family. We have just received a new puppy yesterday! My aunt was going to adopt a puppy named Dante, but she has a smaller wiener dog who is older. She did not like the five month old puppy and he was too rough with her. So me and my siblings went to meet the puppy before he went back to the pound. We fell in love instantly! He was great with us and would respond and obey all of us.
Yesterday afternoon we brought him home for a "foster week" where you try out the puppy for a week to see if he will work in your home. He does certainly work in our home.
My house, unlike my aunts is big and has a huge fenced in area outside where he can run freely. He sleeps in my sister's bed at night and is potty trained. He loves to jump up and give you kisses and even does a little nibbling, but we are trying to train him not to.
He is good with my cat, the cat doesn't like him but he loves the cat. He follows Andrew and tries to play with him and if he hisses at Dante then he will leave him alone and go find someone else to play.
Dante is just full of energy which is something my family needs. We haven't been the same since my dog of 12 years died last year but having Dante for a day changed a lot. Everyone is laughing and smiling and not just laying around but going outside to play with him.
He wasn't expected or planned but I knew the moment I laid eyes on him that this is my dog. Just look at him below! You have to admit he is a cutie.
